I wish they would re-build the GC. Better than it is now.

SpaceCat : I have not heard anything about the FC golf course. I think it would make a really nice event venue. The grounds could be beautiful and an asset to the homes around it.

I think the developer has pulled back on that project. Hopefully, they won't try again later. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

The original developer that bought it ended up giving it to his son because people ever had a lawyer went to City Hall bucked everything he wanted to do. He was going to sell the lot an acre for $300-$375,000. he couldn't sell any at that price. So right now the son has it and it's on hold the last we heard.

SpaceCat : Yes it's that Holly guy. I didn't know his mansion is for sale. He did the same thing in River plantation in Conroe. He bought the golf course and then wanted to develop it into condos in section 8 condos and the residents there had a fit, they took him to court. They eventually won their attorney fees. It was put on hold, but then they had the flood that came in and flooded most of the houses out there in River plantation. My friend had sold her house right before the floods came. She was able to get out of there.
