SteveT : For a little back story, I met her when the HEB in the back was Kings Crossing. We both lived in that complex. She lived with her son and my husband (before we even started dating). I was 19 when she took me in. I was at a very low point in my life and she taught me a lot about having to grow up. Without her, I wouldn't have my family now or be where I am at. Forever will I be grateful for her. She touched a lot of lives. More than I think she ever knew.

Babieborris : Wow! That is something!! They say you are known by the fruit you produce and wow, if you, your DH and your family are just one example, she must have been something!! Her light will continue to shine on with stories like yours!

There will be a service if he can raise enough funds. He lives closer to Baytown than Kingwood so it'll probably be in that area.
