DS went to the airport at 1P today, Terminal C was open, and no waiting for TSA.

QueenB : Good to hear he got through quickly! the TSA brought in their TDY group (temporary duty) to fill in, and the reports on Fox and KPRC this morning were showing smooth sailing. I think they have this figured out...for now.

QueenB: 40 and 70 minute ground stops at the airports right now; they call it Staffing, but is most likely just because of Air traffic controller at this time of day, not TSA agents. the best idea if you do have a flight out is to make sure it is at the beginning of the day because later in the day things trickle down and become delayed, like this Emoticon
