Being a costumer of Optimum, has anyone else noticed a decrease in speed strength the last day or so..mine is seemingly half what supposed to be with a speed test…location is Kings Crossing Drive.
Usually it comes round after a short spell but it doesn't seem to be doing that this time,,,

Ii switched to Tachus over a year ago. I do not have these issues.

Just ran another speed test…did lots yesterday and I was tired of dealing with it after watching a late night Frankenstein movie …but this morning the speed test show all is well…

I dropped Optimum last month. I've had Tachus since it became available in my area.

Same problem lately for me , as well. Also having issues with cable. Of course, by the time I can call them, everything is running fine and they have no record of an outage (even though some neighbors have experienced the same and placed calls).

ralph7337 : I will say, the number of Optimum customers accessing Kingwood.com has plummeted over the last couple of years...there's probably a reason for it...

Optimum isn't anything what it used to be. Might want to look into Tachus - prices are great and speeds are exponentially better.

Are you in a neighborhood that prevents you from breaking up with Optimum?

If you are free to switch to Tachus, it might be time to stop doing the same thing and expecting different results.

I'm not sure, I live in what I call "the old folks home", KINGWOOD VILLAGE ESTATES… across the "pond is the assisted living place Arbor Terrace…
They have a already set up free TV thing here via optimum so I just tagged in the WI FI…
Most times it's fine but sometimes it's a drag…I'm semi retired from composing original music for tv/radio and use it for music teaching etc, guitar…as AI took that away and I'm too old to do that anyway ha …
