My women's choir is giving a fall concert to benefit J's House, a local group home for boys in foster care. November 15, 4:30 pm, at Strawbridge United Methodist Church. It will feature Vivaldi's Gloria with orchestra, plus contemporary songs of hope. Hope you can come!

Annie : An hour and a half, so it should be done by 6:00. And then there's a dessert reception!
MGBguy : We're a surprisingly good (professional level) choir, given that we're all volunteers, so I do hope you can come.
cardinalsong : Thank you! I'm trying to figure out transportation for my aunt who doesn't drive after dark but am very interested.
Fireba11 : Isn't it? I think I've sung it at least three times, and that second movement is one of my favorite pieces ever. And we have a good-sized orchestra accompanying us.
