Four children were shot at the Shell gas station on Tx 288 in Angleton, Tx around 5:30 this morning. Two dead and two life flighted in critical condition. I used to stop there with my kids for snacks about that time headed to Freeport to fish.

UPDATE: According to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office, Oninda Romelus, 31, of Porter, was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after shooting four of her children. She is being held on a $14 million bond. No motive has been released.

This is an odd one. The overnight update indicates that a woman is in custody in connection with the shooting, but authorities won't release what relationship she has to the children. The woman likely drove the children to the gas station but investigators do not know where the shooting took place according to Brazoria County Sheriff's office. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the case, but the reason for its involvement has not been shared.

A home in Porter was searched this morning at 8 AM. Neighbor said several bags were taken out. Cops are not talking right now. But it is connected to the shootings. A neighbor said crime scene tape up in front of the house.
