After my test at HCA Killwood today, I stopped in to the new tac
After my test at HCA Killwood today, I stopped in to the new taco place where Hippo's used to be on Northpark. Everything looked so good on other diner's plates. I had no idea what to order… so I went with (2) beef fajita tacos. Brought them home. The tacos are little street tacos… 3" tortillas! Did you know this? I was still starving after I inhaled them. They were delicious though.

NeenaC0629 : authentic street tacos are always made with the smaller tortillas. we 'gringos' are the ones that like them on the hubcap sized tortillas :D I plan to try it, but will have to ask them to 86 all of that cilantro. glad you had a good lunch.

NeenaC0629 : I went last Tuesday. The pork tacos are only $1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The others are $2. And yes, they are good.
elcid69 : Are they little street tacos also? I was asking questions and holding up the line so I just ordered what I was familiar with. I can take my time on DoorDash or Uber Eats.

LittleTexas : I LOVE street tacos. I just wish I would have ordered 4-5! I'm not a fan of flour tortillas. I didn't know what I was getting. Flavor was spot on! I have never had the Birria tacos. I'll probably end up ordering those before Friday. I think it's called "Quesabirrias". Looks like it comes with just the dipping sauce but you can add pico and beans as a side. If you go in you can pick up a $5 off card from DoorDash. (or use the promo code "JustDashIt" at checkout.

NeenaC0629 : Barria tacos (from any location) are too greasy for me, so i dont order those. But they're other tacos are great! Ive been there 3xs already 😀 I eat 3 and im stuffed

Txbutterfly : I found it cumbersome to get to turn into the place with all the construction. But for a dollar a taco on Tuesday one might make the effort.
Txbutterfly : I hate greasy food it makes me sick and I can't stand the taste. Los Primos has the best birria tacos. I will try this place out.
