Daikin Park Parking I've been invited to go to an Astros game tomorrow night and was wondering if anyone has ever booked a parking spot in advance? It's been a while since I've been down there, so I'm not sure what the average cost for parking is right now. Excited about attending the game, but a little nervous too. Go Astros!!

CatalinaKitKat: park about three blocks away it will be a lot cheaper and you can ride the little mini train in, $2, direct line. this is also great because after the event traffic is a huge snarl around there and takes forever, but if you ride the little mini train out a bit, you will be able to get back to the freeway easily, and head home!

CatalinaKitKat : how early are you planning on getting there? COH street parking is free on Sundays. There are apps for many of the downtown parking lots to reserve parking in advance.
asasolid2r : The game is at 6:10 pm, so I wanted to get there by around 5 pm or so. I'll be meeting my sister and her husband, and we'll have to arrange a place to meet since she has the tickets.

LittleTexas : if you are talking about the light rail, it is free with proof Astros ticket on game days. Of course I've never been asked since I usually have on Stros T and cap.
HappyDay2016 : I read that you can bring your purse in, but they will search it before entering the park. I don't have anything in my car that is very valuable.

CatalinaKitKat : Yes. You can bring a one gallon ziplock clear bag in with food and one clear bottle of unopened water too. While standing in the checkin line I drink one too. They do not allow backpack purses unless you have a kid with you. Hope this helps.
