Vet recommendations for our cat. We tried the vet off Brookdale but we didnt like that they took our cat into another room to give meds. Is there a vet around KW that does treatments in the same room w the owner? Im not concerned w price. Thanks

DRayGunn : No we always go in a room with our pet and the vet tech and then the vet comes in to give vaccines and exam. They are all great there.
DRayGunn : It seems to becoming a trend now at veterinary clinics. I also prefer/DEMAND I stay in the room with my pets. At times, they still take them to the back for some procedures. Right now we're just using Texas Litter Control for my cat's annual wellness visits and vaccinations. This last visit was much faster than previous, and we felt rushed. We really miss our previous vets, who all have retired. Dr. Peggy Huckabee at NW Animal Hospital, Dr. Herb Muller at Loop 494 vet, and Dr. Ernest Parsons at Animal Hospital of Humble. Not sure who we'll go to if Simba or any future pets need more than just wellness visits.

DRayGunn : I am surprised. Everytime I go there, I go in with my pet. Even when they were euthanized. That is how it should be unless you state that you do not want to go or...it is something like surgery.
cbear : It was when they received a shot they went to another room which is very uncomfortable to me.
