Is there a reasonable long term boarding facility around here? A friend is moving here looking for a house but her 6 month rental house doesn't allow animals.

luannski : Maybe they have a friend who would let the dog stay with them. How big is the dog?

luannski : I am thinking the 6 month rental may not be the best option for her. Is she already locked into that place. I'd keep looking. That is really hard on a dog!
Our fur-babies are members of our family, and I can't imagine committing to a place to live where they wouldn't be allowed.

That was my thought but I guess they already put down a deposit.
luannski : They can just lose the deposit for what 6 months of boarding will cost, seriously. It's likely going to be $50 A DAY X 6 months!
