Sisyphus : you do realize we're talking about politicians here right? Most everything they do is highly unusual.

Sisyphus : But not illegal so….the system allows for it. The system is broken. Instead of one-upping each other, we could just make a better system couldnt we?

I disagree with the concept itself.
There are many acts that laws do not proscribe that should not be done.
The current situation is entirely in the hands of the President, Governor and legislature. They should study Newton's laws. Lessons for life can be found in them.

Sisyphus :
No more unusual than any other highly unusual thing that has happened in politics over the years. Objecting on the basis of unusualness seems like a commitment to endless outrage. But I guess that's the world of protesters. There's no shortage of fuel to keep them going in pursuit of that feeling they get when expressing themselves publicly in that manner. The rest of us just drive by, trying to make sense of the puzzling things they write on signs, and amazed that there are people putting themselves on display like that.

Sisyphus : Bc the "concept itself" is flawed. After both parties used it and now are throwing rocks at each other for doing exactly the same thing. This is insanity defined. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Common sense says get a non partisan commission to do it and shut this mess down.
The divise nature of all this is destroying our country.
