So Cleveland ISD HAD a bus flip over this morning and it's wasn'

Oh my goodness. Thankfully everyone is safe. Those poor children had to be terrified as well as the driver. It would be interesting to know if the driver was new or experienced. School bus drivers have a huge responsibility.

Kittle: I wouldn't want the responsibility of a school bus driver and in Pittsburgh it was scary with the snow

rocklady2024 : Did it for 4 years. Ice was the worst! Almost slid into a small canyon when the road crew didn't break out the ice at a downhill T. Still don't know how I managed to stop!
Went into the bus garage and grabbed the owner by his collar and told him if I didn't have studded tires on that bus by that afternoon I was quitting! I had studded tires AND the ice was gone too!

There are some really major curves, and some deep ditches in some places and everyone seems to think it is a racetrack. I'm not at all surprised.

Another good reason to have seat belts on ALL school buses. Right now TX only requires belts on new buses and refuses to order retrofitting on older buses due to lack of funds ?

My sister-in-law flipped 2 school busses in her time driving. Luckily both times she did not have kids on board.
