Ugh power surge! Centerpoint has been working in the area today but left hours ago. Not a breeze or rain and suddenly we loose power briefly. Not so good on the appliances.

Kittle : It was pretty windy about an hour ago near where I live (Bear branch) The breeze felt nice when going for a long walk. However not enough to knock down a power line

We had some mmoderate wind also however it had subsided before the power surges. Those surges are hard on appliances.

If you can unplug the small appliances (toaster oven, toasters, air fryers, counter top microwaves, blenders ) after use, my electrician hubs says it will help..

Same thing. Short power outages almost every day. Why can't Centerpoint fix the power system in Kingwood once and for all?

Our AC fan motor is dying and it's only a year old. I believe it's from the constant electricity flickering on and off constantly, at least once every other day.
