HEB is Like Thanksgiving Week!

Kroger is closed, and Everyone is at HEB, 59 and NP, shopping! I just needed more ramen noodle bowls, and wanted pineapple sherbet, and it looked like all of Harris County was there! I gave up on both, and came home.

Yes, it was extremely busy yesterday too. I tried to go around 1 pm and there was a line of cars waiting to go into the parking lot and out, and it looked full. I turned around and waited until later in the afternoon.

Which Kroger is closed? The one I go to was packed, with people almost fighting over the briskets and slabs of ribs and packages of chicken parts. I was almost afraid to go into the meat section. Did nobody go or send their wife to the store to get stuff for today's barbeque and grilling sessions?

Oh wow, my sister said they were closed, and I just rolled with that info. No idea where she came up with that? I know better than to tell her she was wrong though! Emoticon

I did curbside last night at HEB. Wait was much longer than normal to collect but thankful to not deal with the crowds!
