I really wanted to e-mail J Christopher's before going public but they have no e-mail address. I don't want to speak to a random person on the phone so I will start here. I ordered the lasagne last night. For the most part it was good. What disturbed me and ruined the dish was a thin, one quarter of an inch slab of (what I presumed to be) pressed meat running thru my slice. There was no sign of ground meat anywhere so I am assuming this perfectly pressed piece of gray matter was the meat. Yecch. That was it for me. Not ordering from them again. Weirdest thing I have ever experienced from a restaurant.

I know the food is usually good. It was/is the weirdest thing I've ever seen a restaurant do. I saved it just in case the owner wants to see it. That is, if he/she cares. I really wanted to reach out to the owners thru e-mail. Sadly, I don't trust phone communications anymore. I also think it is something the owners should be aware of, not just management.

J. Christophers is owned by the same people who own both Palomas restaurants here in KW. Talk to them and let them know you were not satisfied with your meal.
In this day and age transparency is the new trend. Like I said prior, this was a pick-up order. They post everything on their website but how to reach them. Yes, I can call them but how do I know who I am really talking to? Managers cover for themselves and their cooks to keep their jobs. An e-mail is a confidential way to contact the owner, resolve the problem out of the public eye, and leave a paper trail eliminating any falsities spoken.

I posted my views on transparency earlier. My going up and speaking with a manager does not guarantee the owner will ever hear of the issue. I also am not shopping for an apology and/or refund. I want the owner to be aware of what is being sent out of his kitchen. That gives him the benefit of correcting a situation he may not be aware of. It is really in his best interest to allow the public to reach him and not be shaded by his employees. This post was not a "slam". It was about awareness for both the consumer and owner. All of which could have been avoided by including an e-mail address on the website.
Even if there were an email address on the website doesn't guarantee the owner would see it. Just call or go in person.
