Is it a right way to lay a coaxial cable?

This is the way replacement cable is usually installed. First they come and the technician hooks up the cable from point a to point b. Then a week or 2 later, 2 laborers will come out and supposedly bury it. How they bury it is, one guy with a shovel will stab it into the ground and pry up a small amount of grass and the second guy will stuff the cable in crack they created and lower the grass back down. The cable ends up being buried about 3 to 4 " deep about the same depth as the grass roots. It's fast and cheap. I've seen it work it's self back out of soil and get caught by lawnmowers before. They do it this way because it CHEAP to do. No trenching machine, no digging a deep trench, no damage to other utilities or sprinklers

Definitely not, know you're from the city, laying cable on the grass is not proper installation. Please call them tomorrow to correct hazard!😘🥺
