Yep, you see it on the medians draping many of the trees. Makes them look like ghostly figures. 👻

Yes, it is all over our yard and taking over rapidly. We're not sure what to kill it with that will also be safe for our pets.

It was imported mostly for erosion control in the south. I remember as a kid hearing about it through farming sources. It's a double edged sword, especially here. It provides wildlife cover for areas widely cleared for development.Edited to add: Rabbits tend to like it for cover.

Txbutterfly : you have to keep cutting and treating it until the plant eventually loses energy and dies out. I bought a weed torch for tough to kill weeds and would burn them every weekend

Cattle and goats love it. Wonder if it's edible for humans. Kudzu salad anyone?

Yes, lived in GA for 4 years, just outside of Atlanta. Its the 'State Vine' and Everywhere! Can be pretty, but Very invasive!
