I was up late last night 1:30am, checked the weather app and it showed a storm coming in about 3:30 am. I had to run outside to protect my lettuce or the rain will ruin it. I woke up and no rain. Ugh.

Again, I thank you for updates. Apparently you never sleep! We have a very busy day scheduled and I got up to check radar and saw you have an update.

Chance of showers tonight This could easily miss us to the east - but if it doesn't, they will NOT be severe like the storms of late, but I still wanted to give the heads up. *A storm system is expected to drop down from north Texas around sunrise. *This may produce some scattered showers during the morning commute in Houston, but it's also possible that most of the rainfall stays to the east of Houston, over places like Beaumont. *In any case, I don't think we'll see much in the way of severe weather. *Some additional rain showers could develop during the late afternoon or early evening hours with daytime heating but again chances look spotty. *Most of the area probably has about a one-in-three chance of seeing rain, or less. *Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies with high temperatures in the mid-90s. Future radar 230am tonight shows it coming south but *likely* going just to our east but it will be close.

StormChaser : Wind chimes and wind noise in general woke me up at 4:30 in Buffalo. I left one of my tractors out last night so I just went ahead and moved it inside. Only light sprinkles so far, but that wind was blowing like crazy!

StormChaser : that darn avocado strikes again. We need 10 days without any rain just so that I can spray and treat my yard to kill these mosquitos and fuzzy worms. Thanks for the info. Have a wonderful Wednesday!!
