Beware of Scam Calls Impersonating Harris County Constable Office 
CONSTABLE MARK HERMAN ADVISES TO BE AWARE OF CURRENT SCAM There have been reports from residents saying they have received suspicious phone calls from the Harris County Constable’s office. According to these reports, the caller is stating that the person has open warrants and must make a payment, or risk going to jail. Please be aware that this is a SCAM. Constable Mark Herman or his Office Staff will NEVER call you seeking payment by phone. Although the scammer may use the name of actual staff personnel, we advise citizens to take certain actions and be aware that this is a SCAM!

Texasdad : Yeah I had lots of calls from the IRS saying I needed to pay immediately or they were coming to take me to jail. I said great jail sounds great to me. Then they argued with me and finally hung up. 🤦â€â™€ï¸
