There was a report on the NBC Nightly News this week about the bust of an organized retail theft ring based in San Diego. The husband and wife recruited people to steal from Ulta a d Sephora stores. Ther were reselling the items on Ebay at big discounts at ridiculously low prices. I hate thieves.
CaffeineFree : I read about that! I am happy they got caught!
Thieves are scum.

Yes...and some of that thieving happened in Texas. They would resell on Amazon too.
Hope I didn't buy any of that stuff...but I have bought cosmetics from Ebay and Amazon at good prices. Never thought about it being stolen merchandise.
Have you seen the 'lockdown pops' on Much of the makeup at Walmart, these days? You have to call an employee to get about 75% of anything, re makeup. I got a new Braun Oral B toothbrush at Christmas, and had to ring a 'button' on the display, and waited over 15 minutes, and had to chat with 3 employees TO get help. When the girl got there, we discussed this, and she said people steal them, quite a few, at a time! I told her I could have bought Meth a Lot easier, in half the time! (I would Never!) ; ) There are those who make thievery their "Job" .
No, I haven't seen it but I've talked to several of my retail peeps who are still in the business. This retail theft become a major problem for all retailers. Even stores located in upper income neighborhoods have to put HBA under lock and key, even toothpaste and deodorant. We buy 90% of our HBA stuff from Amazon and I haven't been in a WM or TGT in a long time.
