The woman, who wants to stay anonymous, fearing her safety, said she walks the trails every day on Deerbrook Drive near Timberlark Street. It is something she looks forward to. "I walk the trails about three miles. It takes me about an hour," she said. However, on Feb 29, at about 4 p.m., she was confronted by an attacker who waited until no one was around. "Right as he was next to me, he turned around and pointed a gun at me," she said. "He said, 'Give me all your money!'" Full article:

Mumsy : I just hate that crime in our little community is amping up.

cbear : Agreed. It seems that no matter where you go, the roaches eventually creep in. Yes, times are tough. I know that from personal experience every day, but it still doesn't justify crime.
Bank robber Willie Sutton was once asked "Why do you rob banks?" His simple to the point answer was "Because that's where the money is." Same concept here. Why do these dirtbags come here to steal and rob? Because Kingwood is where the money is.

I've seen some shady-looking kids on the Greenbelt, wearing all black and not in school during school hours. The kind of kids that make the hair raise on your arms because you know they're up to ZERO good.
Pulling a gun on someone is just "being bored"? That's called No Regard for HUMAN LIFE! Unacceptable! As a community let's not justify wrong please.
