Nuisance : We are! We slid the gate bolt over from the inside so they can't get in from the outside.

SteveT : Go ahead and install an electric fence. I'm sure you will find a way to incorporate it into your Christmas decorations!

These guys have me scared to death. I am looking forward to this being over in Kingwood.

SteveT : Let me know how that works. I have heard they have rights to the easement. Police could be called. I'm not thrilled about them getting here.

You can lock them out but legally you must give access to easements. It's in your deed restrictions. I read the deed restrictions again to be sure. If they want to come in your yard, ask for a supervisor to come explain what they plan to do. I have a success story. After so many horror stories, I asked for a supervisor to come explain things. He was with V&M company. After several false starts (wrong street, lines not clearly marked, etc) he said they were putting lines on other side of fence since I have gas and sewer lines on my side. Two days later he was back because my backyard neighbor locked them out and threatened to call police. So he had line locator guy come and spray my yard. When he showed up with crew the next day, I pointed out they missed a gas line going to neighbors because he has two meters due to generator. So line locator came back and found line and they hand dug around everything then used their machines to finish. Recovered their work and cleaned up. Only mess is mud on driveway but rain should take care of that. And they put the box in another neighbors yard even though more work because when he asked if they could put in my yard I made a face. So they dug along other side of fence then came diagonally into mine and then diagonally back out to resume straight line to avoid my backyard neighbor. Years from now, that will be a nightmare when trying to figure out line locations. I think the key is to ask for a "supervisor" up front, get his name and cell number, and be visible and check their line locator work.

Think I would trust the Little Rascals gang more than those boneheads!

Yes, I know that but just wishing I didn't have to let them. No one has come to mark anything and I will for sure not let them without that being done.
