GOOD NEWS .. for current & past Suddenlink customers.....
I received a notice in the mail today. A $15,000,000 class action lawsuit has been approved for charging customers extra fees like surcharges and network fees. You must file a claim on line before 9/3/23 for your cash payment.
It will be disbursed as follows,...... Customers will receive between $10 & $25.
Lawyers representing claimants will receive $5,000,000 !!!
What would lawyers do without us ???

I personally feel these kinds of class actions are silly and refuse to participate. I don't like the way it incentivizes class actions for relatively minor stuff.

billcherie2 : Indeed. I have heard their arguments. But there is no way, no how it is yielding a public benefit for those guys to pocket $5M for silliness like this. I say this at someone who absolutely loathes SuddenLink.

jrw2017 : Exactly, I stay out of them. They do nothing but drive the cost of business up.

They can use that $$ to pay off the $$ they say I owe them because they failed to close my account when they were supposed to. Because the account was in my deceased husband's name and I wasnt to an authorized user....well good luck billing him for it *******es
