Just arrived home from HEB, my lovely spouse told me, I was over charged $4.80,

the MACINTOSH apples were suppose to be .67/LB not $1.47
overcharged $1.79

They charged for TWO cans of HEB French Fried Onion extra $2.24
only purchased ONE to get the free BEANS= two cans...

But they charged me $0.78 cents for the second can...

BUT I SAVED $45.82 THE RECEIPT STATES... 4951

Dh doesn't always remember, but I strongly urge him to watch the register prices as they ring up and to check sales receipts immediately after paying, before leaving the store. I do that myself, plus I often carry a list and write shelf prices as I put each item in my cart. Now and then that has been helpful in noticing overcharges. 4951

KWAncientResident : looks like Bradley charged you for empire apples instead of McIntosh.

I bet it's an underground crime ring. 4951

If I go back before FEB 20th, (DATE RECEIPT EXPIRES) and the receipt INK has not disappeared,
maybe I stop there again....and check my new receipt, before I leave the HEB,
and maybe I will even get a $4.80 credit...

...if I REMEMBER...IF 4951

KWAncientResident : You do have to check your receipts at HEB. They charged me for two turkeys the other day. I noticed when I got home and called them. The girl said they will refund the other one when I come in next week. I hope I remember! 4951

I went the morning they opened and they had an in store coupon that was on the front page of the flyer but a pound of oven gold turkey and get hummus free. The turkey rang up at the wrong price and when I pointed it out they changed the label to something that was the price per pound it was supposed to be.

I did self checkout because I wanted to get out of the store. The coupon wouldn't scan because it said I didn't have the correct item since they changed the tag. Had to get help to get the coupon to work. 4951

That's funny that the receipt tells you how much you saved but was inaccurate on costing the items you purchased. If it were me I'd take this receipt to the manager, explain, then get my money back they owe you. 4951

This is why I use self checkouts, so Bradley can't screw me over. 4951

I sorta' feel bad for this "Bradley". You guys are comin' down hard on him. (Might be his first job as a cashier). Plus there are variables I'm sure weren't mentioned: 1) how busy the store was-time of day, 2) new HEB or old, 3) with anything new-there is usually some "kinks" to work out-w/system like UPC coding & register, even if it were just human error. 4951
