 I made an appointment for them to come out today and fix all my TV's that have the small box.... NONE of those are working! I waited all day ..... called and checked with them twice after 3:30 to make  sure they were still coming... and was told Yes,, but they would be running late.. Then I get an automated call 30 minutes ago (6:00pm) asking how my Tech did?? He NEVER showed up!!    I have had this appt since Monday! Now they tell me they will TRY to come in the next 24 hours... I highly doubt that since tomorrow is Thanksgiving!!  I NEEDED the game room TV working for all to watch the Texas/OU game..  Really really **** off right now............  This is the 2nd time in 4 months they have "no showed" on me!!    UG UG... ok  rant over... 4951

Direct TV. 3 tvs, dvrs and Internet $100 a month. Never lost anything during Harvey. 4951

 I had Direct TV originally... but after IKE it was going to take them 3 months to get to me... So I cancelled and went with Suddenlink... It is usually ok,, except for On Demand... that only works about half the time. (but don't use it very often) Normally my TV's have been fine the last 9 years with them.. but not so much since Harvey,,, but not sure it is Harvey related... they have been doing updates. However, they do not come and "update" your house to this new stuff till you have a problem and have to call them. 4951

 Also when I originally had Direct TV,, we had 6 TV's... and they charged extra for  every TV...   was very expensive.  Plus I had to pay even more for a "booster" because I had that many TV's.... So when I switched to Suddenlink.. they do not charge by the amount of TV's... and I saved a lot of money. 4951

@Traveler500: We all hate Suddenlink.  They know we have very few choices in our area and they just don't care if they have good customer service.

 I will.... but just very unhappy that they have been unreliable with appts lately... These last 3-4 months have been my only real major issues.. I stressed on Monday how important it was that they show up this time... and explained what had had happened a few months before... and I was assured they would be here...   Just very frustrated.  4951

Omg.. I hate suddenlink. Every month I have trouble with them. It's either cable, internet or phone. They suck. 4951

Don’t even get me started.  This is what happens when there is no competition. They have zero incentive to provide good customer service and so they don’t.
