We heard noises in the wall of our bedroom a few days ago. We went out to look and it seems we have some glorified rats (squirrels) living in the wall. There is a hole in the wood upstairs. Anyway, DH has been rapping on the wall outside with a long pole every so often to make the squirrels uncomfortable so they will go away. This morning when we woke up there were no noises from the wall so he decided today was the day we should cut the hedges down because that seems to be how they are getting in. My DD was out in the garden and saw two squirrels trying to figure out how to get back up there. I would think they could climb the wall. Anyway, it was quite entertaining and they never managed to get up the wall. Now we have to repair that area. Did you know those little buggers will chew on hardy plank?
@TEXASGIRLMAMMA:
They will eat anything and do anything to get in your house. I recommend a good gamo pellet gun with a scope. Pick them off and then throw them in your trash can. Edited to add: Thrown them in your OUTSIDE trash can. Sometimes, you only think you got them with that first shot. 4951
