Several weeks ago someone couldn’t get into their safety deposit box due to bank flooding in Kingwood.

What ever happen? 4951

It seems like the bank moved the boxes to another location, and the owners of the boxes had to meet at those locations to open up their boxes. But I could be wrong.

@Fallon: That's what I heard from several. 4951

I think it was Chase that moved them to a location off 45 and they had to go pick them up there. Apparebtly safety deposit boxes are not waterproof. 4951

They let us go in Wells Fargo and get ours. We had to wear a mask and gloves. Since ours was near the top our stuff was okay. All of the boxes from the floor to about 4 ft. were flooded. I am keeping my things at home from now on. 4951

Were the safe deposit boxes at Bank of America on West Lake Houston affected?  Anyone know?

@SandyKnee:

I don't believe they flooded. If you look at the parking lot when you drive in it actually goes up in elevation. 4951
