I have noticed, more than a few times recently, that some ladies think it's A-Okay wear fully sequined tops to work.  They look like they were going to a formal occasion and just forgot to completely change out of work attire into their formal attire.  I don't mean a few bedazzled accents, I mean fully-sequined-drag-queen-style-headed-to-the-club tanks and tops. IT LOOKS RIDICULOUS!  What the hell were they thinking? 4951

What sort of work place is it? I'm hoping it isn't an office! 4951

@justanirishgirl: Yes, it is a large corporate office downtown.  They must be trying to re-live their Studio 54 wild dreams or something.  It wasn't too long ago that the firm I worked for completely forbid anything with any sequins, even small accents, etc. because this one bimbo secretary that refused to dress for her age and her profession frequently wore crap like similar to what is pictured above.  Okay, if you're a pole dancer or a ho, then I get your need to advertise and draw attention, but not at work in a professional office. 4951

Thankfully I have not seen that in my workplace.  Where do they even get fully sequined tops? Forever 21 or some other teen store? 4951

@gigem09: Not sure.  Some of them are middle-aged women, not just young girls, fresh out of college who might not know any better.

I've seen it too. Where I work it seems like the larger the girl is, the smaller the top is. That and the fact that they don't want anything covering their backside. Just looks ridiculous 4951

I agree with you @donnatella.  The people in my office are ridiculous.  If I didn't think someone could possibly know someone I would post of a pic of some of the outfits.  I think they have a magic mirror on the wall also because they certainly should not be wearing what they are at their size either. 4951

There a couple of bigger ladies that work in my building that think it is ok to wear leggings as pants to work.  One of them wears shirts long enough to cover her bum, the other bigger one does not.  It is  not attractive or work appropriate. 4951

@SmurfySuzi:

I think the really really big girls think that if they wear leggings it makes them look thinner. But then I don't know I'm just an observer shaking my head. 4951
