So glad Trump is doing his best to help me out next year since Republicans could care less. This could mean big saving for me next year instead of another 63percent health insurance rate increase.

Another lie. He needs something to bring up his terrible approval numbers. Just another distraction away from his horrible week he had. 4951

How did he have a bad week?He helped out PR beyond what anyone could have asked for. He was unreal proactive in what he did setting up FEMA to be there before the 2 hurricanes hit.He is right to reach across the isles and say hey, lets fix the ACA, because what we have not will NOT EVER be a viable systems.  As O and every single Dem knew when they signed this.  Instead of using a modicum of intellect they chose to pass something they knew wasn't going to make it.  It was a disaster from the second it rolled out until now.  It will fail, because it was not ever set up to succeed.  And for doing this, the Dem party showed again they are not going to work with anyone on this.  The first response said any repeal is off the table.  Well unless the pos's that voted for this can fund it, and unless you tax the US population at 100% it will ever ever be funded, they need to fix it.

@Fallon:

If Trump would sign an executive order making every member of congress, their families and their staff mandatory recipients of Obamacare , it would be repealed and replaced immediately. If Obamacare is so great for US citizens, why do they exempt themselves? 4951

@Fallon: That is an absolute falsehood.  He grades himself with an A+ and a gold sticker as he does in everything else. 4951

Hate Trump all you want.  But no one else could have done more for PR than Trump did.Beyond stupid for people with intellect to say otherwise.  FEMA was there in place before the 2nd Hurricane hit.  There are over 15K FEMA and NG there now.  Again, hate Trump if if helps you sleep at night. But he has handled every one of the hurricanes and the shooting in Las Vegas as well if not better than anyone else could have or would have.
@Fallon: The Puerto Rico National Guard is always there.  Mr. Trump does not deserve credit for the PRNG being in the region where they live,  That is not a matter of intellect, it is a matter of fact.  What was requested by the governor was active military with their resources to assist the PRNG.  Just a little more intellect is required to understand that.It was a matter of intellect to immediately waive the Jones Act as was done for Texas and Florida.  This was actually a no=brainer since the vast majority of what enters PR arrives on seafaring vessels.It was a matter of intellect to understand the U.S. Navy ships with helicopters would be needed and were indeed needed to assist with post-storm to aide in the rescue efforts.  They were neither pre-positioned nor sent with anything resembling swiftness once the magnitude of the situation was known.It was a matter of intellect to understand that the runways at the former AF base Ramey and Navy base Roosevelt Roads are still there and available for military cargo planes to deliver supplies.  I could get snarky and say paper towels but might sound like hate to some.

  Since I do not have first hand knowledge of what has or has not been done in PR...  I don't want to fight about it  ..... (possible Fake News tells me nothing)  But I am curious to know did the helicopters do any food drops to people stuck in the mountain areas??  I heard there had been an issue about getting trucks to SOME areas.  Does anyone know???  Thx! 4951

Once again FEMA was there before the last hurricane hit.  Hate all you want.  You want facts got o FEMAs website.  The state of TX and the state of FL both had to step up as well as the people living in those states.  And they did. Had any Gov or Mayor held up FEMA that would be on them and their political agenda. Be honest and deal with the facts.  It will make you correct and a better person.
@Fallon: My cousin is one of those FEMA supervisors in place before and after Maria struck.  I kind of know what was and is in place from FEMA.  They are requesting more resources. I also have many acquaintances there that don't feel the relief effort is anywhere near adequate yet.  It has slowly gotten better since Lt. Gen Buchanan was put in charge but that was 9 days ago and he called the efforts prior to his appointment inadequate  What makes you suggest I am not a good person for saying something you disagree with?  I don't hate Mr. Trump.  I have any personal animus relative to him which also means I am not his acolyte as you appear to be.  Please don't take the acolyte reference as an intent to insult because it is not.  It's not unusual for voters to deify the person they cast their vote for.

Focus. We are talking about Obamacare here. Not someone's relatives and whether or not their intellect lives up to someone's opinion on a subject that has nothing to do with this specific thread. 4951
