@elguapo: It's a lot. Only about 1/3 though are viable for entertainment value which is still great for free. I could totally afford paid TV but see no value in it having Amazon. My wife is watching Amazon this morning an I'm watching football later. I actually hooked it up a few years ago for fun. Thought I might get maybe 5 channels. I don't think people around here know we have one of the best antenna free station markets in the country.   4951

@beastmodeI have one of those digital indoor antennas, Leaf ultimate. It states a 60 mile coverage and it worked great when I lived outside Chicago. I was 50 miles out of the city and had many stations to choose from. I also accessed Milwaukee stations and was 60 miles from there. Here I have several stations that come through, but they are mostly foreign language  or shopping/infomercial channels. I receive NBC, but not ABC or CBS, I do get Fox, but no PBS stations. I rarely watch television, (lol moved here in March and didn't turn it on until Harvey) but I would like to have the major networks and PBS when I do feel like watching something. Any suggestions? 4951

@jm09:

A multi-directional smaller than a dinner plate about 25 ft up. Think I paid $65 for it. The HD stations actually come in clearer than paid TV since it's a direct signal. I can tell the difference too, especially with sports.  4951

I use a good guide to see what's on. It's free and can be set up to only show the stations you're interested in. It can be used for antenna, cable, or dish... titantv.com 4951

It's an omni directional. I have it in my attic

@mm4731:   Where did you buy it??  Best Buy? Walmart?......  Would love to not be dependent on SuddenLink.

I've got one of those cheap window antennas in my attic tied to a signal amplifier/splitter that feeds all the tv sets in the house....think I paid 10 bucks for it....I'm going to replace it with a little better one soon 4951

I have one set that is not in the splitter, there I have another of those antennas stuck to the top of an interior wall going directly to the set.  I don't get everything (missing 13 or 26, I can't remember), but that set is only watched occasionally. 4951

@nycoil: Other than the antenna being a different style, that is how mine is set up...works great
