He's holding strong at about 77% on KDC, tho------------------------http://www.apnorc.org/projects/Pages/Americans-Evaluations-of-President-Trump.aspxFew Americans believe that President Trump understands their needs and problems, and most would not describe him as honest, level-headed, or a strong leader, according to a new poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.Nineteen percent of Americans say President Trump understands the needs and problems of people like them extremely or very well, 17 percent say moderately well, and 64 percent say he understands their needs and problems not very well or not well at all.Twenty-six percent believe President Trump is a strong leader, 23 percent view him as honest, and 16 percent say he is level-headed. Republicans are most likely to use each of these terms to describe the president. 4951

@mdizzle: I wasn't ask and I'm willing to bet my rear no one in this forum was a participant. Those Surveys are done 'among SELECTED Groups conducted either by the Liberal Media, or Liberal Universities"  enough to know. As for accuracy of Surveys many of us wipe our boots with it. Are these not the same survey's that gave Hillary the win? shhh right! They cannot get over the fact POTUS Trump is THEIR POTUS. As far as I am concern they can scream and kick all they want---or until the cows come home it will not change one dang thing. Just DEAL WITH IT! Emoticon Emoticon Emoticon

no argument that either side can paint things any way they want.  as far as dealing w/ a man that is unfit to be president...that's an ongoing exercise that i'm not prepared to do.  i'd say more, but off to eat.  chow4now   4951

Do they have polls showing support or not of his positions without the man being involved? I have to believe that will be much higher than 32% and that is what got him elected. 4951

@BooBear: I don't know which positions you are speaking about.  Repeal and replace?  Secure borders/build the wall?  I feel much of what got him elected is Hillary being perceived as a lying/crooked/insert adjective here, person.  Maybe she is, or isn't, I suppose she must have some of the qualities.  But at a time when people believe things as wild as Hillary supporting a pedophile ring run out of a pizza shop basement, and doing their best to spread such nonsense, it's not difficult to see people latch on to anger and let it sway their votes (or their entire mindset).  DT used these feelings to his advantage of course. The Netflix documentary "Get Me Roger Stone" provides insight on how DT was elected (info below)."A longtime Trump confidante and advisor, Stone said he always knew his celebrity pal was "prime political horse flesh." Get Me Roger Stone traces the monumental shifts that Stone, the youngest person called before the Watergate grand jury and a self-described "dirty trickster", has made on modern GOP history--connecting Nixon, Roy Cohn and Reagan with SuperPACs, lobbying, the 2000 election, all the way to the nation's first reality star President. A master of creating controversy and manipulating the media, Stone's career is a window into the last 50 years of politics that led to this pivotal moment in history."

@Irtexn: i was about to address this next.  as far as i can tell, NORC is a reputable organization.  they list what % of republican/dems/ind are included in their polls, and more specifically, how severe left/right that person claims to be.  regardless of this, the poll is of 1,100 people across all 50 states.  for me it's too small of a sample size.  1,100 talking for 3.2 million hardly seems accurate.  however, they have numerous other polls, including health care, standing/kneeling for the anthem, disaster relief, etc, and those numbers may (or may not), seem more accurate  http://www.apnorc.org/Pages/default.aspxit should also be noted that the poll was given at a time when DT was calling professional athletes "sons of *****", sending dozens of tweets about standing for the flag while Puerto Rico was drowning, taunting N. Korea, etc.  not hard to believe his favor would be falling in the eyes of the general populace to me.
