Where would you go if money/time was no object??   I would like to see:  1. Petra, Jordan  2. Fiji - in one of those huts over the water.  3. Caves at Lascaux - but you can't go in the REAL one anymore. They have a mock-up Emoticon  4. Washington DC - Museums (can't believe I have not been there!) 4951

I was able to visit caves at Altamira in Spain, but this was in 1986. We were able to enter as part of a school group, but I don't think they were letting normal, walk up tourists go in. Cook IslandsPatagoniaNamibiaNepaland yes Petra too! But if money and time were no object, I'd just leave on my private yacht this afternoon and probably never return.. Emoticon 4951

@Reivax: The caves at Lascaux (in France) are estimated to be 20,000 years old!  My Dad got to see the real one many years ago.. wish he had taken me.But he says you can't tell the difference between the "fake" and real one, he has been back to see both..  but there is just something about seeing the REAL thing. 4951

I don't travel well.  More like a toddler on a road trip who hates to be confined.  The family is ready to put me out of the car long before we reach Austin or San Antonio.  The Hubs threatened to sedate me on the way to Dallas. If I could somehow overcome my cabin fever, I would love to do a West Coast Napa wine tour, and then maybe Tuscany. 4951

@Traveler500: Then I would have to re-drug to go to sleep.  Don't sleep well, even at home, and I sleep even less away from home.
