Anyone know why so many dead fish are appearing every day at the duck pond?  4951

@donna2017:

Fish always die off after a flood.  During the flood, they get displaced to new areas, which then, as the water recedes, provide less and less for them to live on.  Those that came up when much of Kingwood was part of the San Jac, and stayed in the pond, don't have enough to eat and also may not have enough oxygen.  4951

Should have seen my pool....though the four bags of shock probably didn't help. 4951

I had a few minnows as well, and was able to net many of them after dumping in the shock.  Pool tip #1:  You CAN add too much shock, which can make your pool cloudy for weeks.  Ask me how I know... 4951

More than a few.Cloudy from the shock is the least of my pool problems. 4951

I am lucky, no doubt.  So far, the only equipment casualty is one timer died and a wheel fell off my Polaris.  Replaced the timer last night and ordered Polaris parts.  Both pump motors were completely submerged, although the timers were not.  So far so good, other than a super cloudy pool.  4951

@FoFa, I was wondering where this was too.

@Fallon: Deer Ridge Park, near the front baseball field.  Just south of Trailwood.

@buffaloglenn is that area still closed off?  Or is it just River Grove Park that is closed for now?

@Fallon:

I ran down there a week or so ago but turned around near the entrance to Barrington, so I didn't check the whole park, but the front looked open to me.  4951
