What is the name and has anyone been there yet? Is it basically Subway or better....
@Dbstelly: Jimmy Johns! I think it is way better than Subway and they good thing about it is you're in there no longer than 5 minutes. Pay for your sandwich and then they have a line of people that make it and there is no choosing your ingredients because they are listed and not meant to be changed but of course you can add or take things off. I think it is a lot fresher than Subway and it just tastes better, only one type of bread so the decisions are made for you in a way you just decide what sandwich sounds the best.
They're known for their delivery - you can order online. Folks at my office in my previous location would occasionally do a group order and indeed delivery was quick. I'm not the biggest fan of the chain, but the multi-grain bread (which you can get with I believe any of the sandwiches) is a big improvement for some of the options. I'd put it as better than Subway, not as good as some of the other chains. I've not been to any sandwich place since coming back to the area, haven't been to Chelsea's in more than a couple decades, so can't weigh in on that comparison. There's also Vn'Wich right near there, for another non-chain option (that one's next on my list next time a sandwich is in order). 4951
I've never understood what the big deal about Chelsea Deli was...everyone in my family LOVES Chelsea, meanwhile I would take Subway over it any day of the week 4951
I like Chelsea club baguette, minus the tomatoes. I also like their red potato salad. Their egg salad is pretty good also. And their regular sandwiches. Not a fan of their tuna or chicken salad however.
@fmartin931, you must be ordering the wrong things! Â lolTheir chicken salad, tuna salad or shrimp salad on a croissant is heavenly.Their pasta salads are great as it their soups.
