@donnatella:

It's stressful, but I take comfort in knowing that it would really be difficult for any hurricane to dump as much rain on us as Harvey did, that's what got us. 4951

@Tex17:

Jose is in the Atlantic on Irma's tail, the good news with that is that with as strong as Irma got, there's not a ton of "fuel" for Jose right now

Katia is a tropical storm as of right now, but there is still no need to be alarmed, just stay informed!

Jose is expected to remain a fish storm.  That is to say...stay in the Atlantic waters and move north.Katia was only supposed to be a TS for Mexico.  Sort of surprised to see it make cat 1 status. Our company and a bunch of clients are in the Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa areas.  They're all prepping to get hammered by Irma.  If it doesn't make the bend northeast and miss Florida, it's going to be really ugly.    4951

The 9pm GMT run had it at 75mph.  Just barely a cat 1, but a hurricane nonetheless.   4951

A "wind storm" right now would level the pine belt of TX. Take that mess somewhere else. 4951

@shodan66: A fish storm. Some of the phrases you come up with are hysterical.

@Ebola: Am I not enough? I try every day to push everyone else's boundaries, and still have as much fun here as possible. Not to mention my continuous spam-slaying and rallying against ridiculousness and stupidity from all arenas.

Agreed, I follow prediction for the season every year and never have they predicted a "below average season" lol 4951
