>> I can tell some (not all) people that stay home during the day have lost their social skills. If you expect to be waited on before it's your turn go home and order online. Stay home with your entitlement issues instead of ruining other people's days.
@Champagnechola: I don't understand your connection of people that stay home during the day and customers who feel (falsely) entitled to not wait their turn in line.
I frequently stay home all day and when I go out, I try to make an extra effort to be pleasant to/with others.
@Retired_Engineer: That's why I said some not all. Most people are pleasant, but there's a few that have the demeanor that they came out of a cave.
@Champagnechola: Let's face it. When young children grow up with their eyes focused on tablets or smart phones, they never develop the social skills to interact well with others. It breaks my heart to see a group of youngsters sitting/standing together and they all are staring at their phones instead of talking or interacting with their friends. I've even seen adults that are constantly checking or texting on their phones. They would feel lost if you took their phone away. I couldn't enjoy the last movie I went to in a theater because several adults around me were constantly checking their phones. That normally wouldn't have bothered me but in a dark theater, it's like they are turning on a flashlight when they check their phone. Social skills in general are decreasing.
