@beastmode: You will most likely interpret it as veteran bashing but that is what 5-10 veteran's preference points the federal hiring process. Lazy and entitled seeking easy money.
@plakata: If the points worked out in your favor you would have no issue with it. For someone who was not born here with no birth certificate like yourself I get the resentment and hatred but that is why you live here; we pass laws and follow them. No telling what goes on where you came from.
@beastmode: I absolutely reject the concept of benefitting from an undeserved advantage. Is it a cognitive dysfunction that leads you to believe I was not born a U.S. citizen? That retrieving a piece of paper is a bigger challenge for you than me makes the morons as happy as you are at this moment. Don't force me into being insolent towards you. What the heck, I was a citizen before you and have been one longer than you. Maybe I'll kick you off the reservation. And no, I was never personally harmed by the 5-10 point giveaway advantage to veterans. It and many other veteran welfare benefits, "entitlements," should not exist. An "all volunteer" military should not provide benefits beyond what others who "serve" such as, for example, firefighters, law enforcement, school teachers receive. Most Korea and Viet Nam veterans were forced into service. Service was not their best career option.
