Just saw the latest Planet of the Apes movie yesterday.Amazing technology....after a few minutes you look at the apes as real individuals.A long movie and get to stage where just want it move along to the end.At the end it really gives you something to contemplate.Are we as humans going to survive some mysterious virus that the apes are immune to?Look for the one shot that shows a Coca Cola add on the side of a burned out semi truck.Is the wall building by the humans a subtle  dig at POTUS?  He could use ape manpower if he can't get Mexico the pay for his wall?Woody Harrelson ---I never did like him and now I can't stand him.   Too bad he is upstaged by the apes. Saw him in LAX waiting to board a flight...what a attention addict.  He was doing push ups in front the gate podium.  Good movie but a great amount of violence --- ape mistreatment for instance. 4951

I saw it last weekend, I really enjoyed it, it was on the long side but I thought it was excellent.  I've enjoyed the whole reboot trilogy. 4951

I have never liked any planet of the apes, but i did see the very first one in the theaters back in the 60's i think, i must have been 12 or 13 at the time. Didn't think much of it, and have not watched more than 10 minutes of any other one since.

Just not my cup of tea for some reason. 4951

@FoFa:

I had just the opposite reaction to the first one.  I ran around in an ape mask with a plastic machine gun for months.  I'm younger though.  Have not seen the new one, but hear it ties into that original somehow.  4951
