I've had Salata three times in the last two days. They had a pretty quiet soft opening, but they were still pretty busy. This is a great spot for a healthy meal. Except... I will say that they have these salted caramels by the cash register that are my new favorite sweet. I've had eight of them in two days. I'm so bad, but they were so good!
I preferred the wrap over the salad. I didn't care for the prickly pear limeade (I thought of you @fofa it sounds like something that you would try too). It was very clean and the staff was friendly. I also love how they are donating half of the proceeds tomorrow to Seth Haynes. 4951

Looks good. Is it better than Jason's Deli? I like JD because they also have pasta with chicken, hard boiled eggs and real bacon. I don't even order sandwiches anymore. Way more nutrition and value with the salad bar and it's cheap. Dressings are also great. Plus free ice cream but I never get it. I stack my salad so high. Go there at least a few times a month. And no cashier with their salad kiosk. 4951

@beastmode:
Jason's deli has more variety, but they have more salad toppings at Salata. Granted I haven't been to Jason's in awhile I literally ate there 3-4 times for a long time. I didn't do a lot of cooking back then lol. I definitely liked the wrap more than the salad. Then again my daughter ordered me an Asian style salad and somehow decided to add feta cheese to it. That was an awful combination.

Salata is awesome and I can't wait for it to open.  I miss having one nearby the office.  I know I have said that before, but it's worth repeating. For those not familiar with it, don't wait too long to check it out. 4951

@FoFa:  It's kind of along the lines of Chipotle, where you go down the counter and the people behind the serving line custom create your salad with whatever combination of greens, proteins, toppings etc you want.The bread is yummy. 4951

@FoFa:
Souper Salad is chuckee cheese and Salata is Six Flags in comparison. There's not really a buffet it's more of how they serve you at Luby's.

What I love about Salata is everything is bite sized and they mix it for you. That way you don't spend forever prepping the perfect salad. 4951
