Our association recently put out a letter regarding a growing problem in our area f attractingFeral cats, opossums, raccoons ,rats, and voles [what are they? Never heard of them before].This appears to happening because people are feeding their animals outdoors and leaving the food there. Why not feed your pets in the house and leave your doors open? This practice has shown an increase in the number of these critters getting into household attics etc.So stop it. Your home may be next! 4951
Had a raccoon take up residence in our attack. He was relocated. Not before eating a hole in our siding. He was eating bugs and such under the insulation. Has nothing to do with feeding animals outside. All our pets are inside pets. I stopped storing or feeding outside the first time I went into my garage and a big rat just stared me down. Has to do with these greenbelts. Those traps from tractor supply are very good. Catch all kinds of critters.  4951
When you live on the greenbelt its tough. Habitat everywhere. Those raccoons will chew right through wood siding. One guy told me one chewed threw his roof. shingles and plywood. They don't need a entry point. LOL. 4951

@crawdaddct: Used to work at a sheathing manufacturing plant. Those things would chew into the asphalt coated 50 board count bundles out in the storage yards to have babies and to be warm.. 4951
