From where I was at near Mcdonald's, many people were booing. Showing him thumbs down to him and one lady even stood up and yelled "not my mayor." Â So there definitely was stuff like that going on from what I saw.Â

That's sad and very disrespectful. There are many politicians that I didn't vote for but they were elected by the majority and they are in the office and deserve the respect. I clapped for all- even the ones I don't care for and didn't vote for- it's the mature and PATRIOTIC ( it WAS the 4th of July right??) thing to do. Both sides are guilty of this BS and I wish it would stop. I always attribute this kind of behavoir to poor upbringing and being uneducated. Unfortunately this seems pretty mainstream these days. The Us vs Them and it's all about me mentalities are going to take our society down.
