Y'all know how much we love our Italianos. We decided to head there Thursday night for some good food. We all order and everything's goings great. Then it went downhill,literally. Food comes and I had ordered a calzone. Well our poor waiter dropped it ALL OVER MY HUSBANDS BACK! And if you have ever had one those things they are hot as hell inside. His entire back was covered in marinara sauce and cheese. Waiter profusely apologizes and says he will put an order in for another and be back asap. While waiting an very older gentleman comes to the table and says the manager will be over shortly. Kids and hubs eats. I finally get to eat. STILL NO MANAGER. Waiter comes to the table with the check and asks if we would like dessert. Hubs asks to speak with the manager. Some young guy comes to the table and asks what the issue is. Umm has No one told you?!? We tell him what happened. He has the nerve to ask if I had ate my meal. Uhh yes I was starving,when that **** finally came!!! Dude only comps us my meal and the dessert we ordered. That's it. No apology from him. Dh and I have both worked in the food business and we understand accidents happen but to have to sit and wait for a manager to stop by and apologize and not apologize is just bad business. We're not real impressed with how that entire situation was handled.
@yankeejessica: Only comping your meal is unsatisfactory. Italiano's should at least pay for the laundering of your spouse's soiled clothing and any resulting medical expenses as well as apologize for what happened.
