There needs to be an audit. Each vote verified. Time consuming, yes. Labor intensive, yes. A deterrent in future elections -- yes. 4951

@FoFa: A non partisan think tank very recently came out stating that millions of illegals - up to 5 million past few elections, if memory serves me correctly that was the figure ( will google to research later) but it appears Trump may have been right all along.). We wont hear of this in main stream media though.

@Ruger5:

I saw that yesterday. They estimate 5 million illegals voted. I doubt any of them voted for Trump. 4951

@Ruger5: Self-designating as non-partisan should not be construed as devoid of a shared agenda, partially or fully, with a party.  The ACLU, Citizen's Source and Southern Poverty Law Center are non-partisan.  Do you believe anything put out by them?  My bet is you emphatically do not and even scoff at it.By the way, there is no statistically valid to determine for what party illegal votes were cast except when cast in primaries.  In those, the voter can only vote in that party's primary.  That is what happened in the case that was detected in the Dallas area.  The ineligible voter cast votes in Republican primaries so obviously she voted Republican.In Dade County Florida, it is known that thousands of votes are cast illegally by non-citizen Cubans.  It is impossible to know for what party's candidates.  However, it is surmised that it is mostly Republican because of that group's loathing of Democrats.  Have you seen the party affiliation of the Cuban-American members of Congress from that hotbed of illegal Cuban voters?

You pretty much have to have a ID and prove who  you are for just about anything and why anyone would want voter fraud is crazy.  If these illegal voters were voting Republican I bet the Democrats would want it stopped also.  Voter fraud is much more of a concern to the integrity of our elections than some Russian BS. 4951

@Max57:

Well, today is your lucky day! Leader Trump is already on the case! As freedom loving conservatives, we should be all for this, right? Right???Kris Kobach wants every U.S. voter’s personal information for Trump’s commissionKansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach has asked every state in the nation to provide President Donald Trump’s new voter commission with the names, birthdates and Social Security information for registered voters going back to 2006. Kobach, a former chairman of the Kansas Republican Party and a candidate for Kansas governor in 2018, serves as vice chairman of Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity. In a June 28 letter, Kobach asked the Connecticut secretary of state’s office to provide it with all publicly available voter roll data, including the full names of all registered voters along with their addresses, dates of birth, the last four digits of their Social Security numbers, voting history and other personal information. Kobach said in a phone call that he sent similar letters to election officials in every state and that as Kansas’ top election official he will be providing the commission with all of the information for Kansas voters.Kobach clarified that the personal data would be hosted on a secure server run by the federal government and not disclosed to the public. He said that the request for the Social Security digits was meant “to prevent false positives.” 4951

If there is a large number of illegal votes, we need to fix it, no matter which side they are for.

@plakata: Did I understand correctly that you believe it is mostly republicans voting illegally? Omg lol. Well alrighty then. I would agree with you but then that would just make us both wrong. 😀
@Ruger5: I make no such claim but that depending on the individual it could be from any party I don't believe, I know that is true.  I also know there is no statistically valid method to quantify who gets the most votes from those that vote illegally.I also don't know whether 3-5 million illegal votes were cast nationwide in the 2016 elections.  I doubt that is true but given my lack of resources I can't conduct the necessary investigations to prove that.  We will see if the recently sanctioned for misleading the court Mr. Kobach can prove his fellow Republican secretaries of state are so incompetent that they allowed it to happen.

@plakata: Fair enough. However I think it's a given illegal votes of every variety stem from the democratic party. This is where, not brain power, rather common sense comes into play. 👍
@Ruger5: That is not using brain power or common sense, it is hoping fervently.  I worked in Miami long enough to know where Cubans could go to register with only their affirmation that they were citizens sufficing as proof to register.  It was done at soto voce but word spread that Cubans could go to the Little Havana Senior Center to register.  That was not far from a restaurant named "La Esquina de Tejas," better known as Ronald Reagan's restaurant because the table and seat where he sat were kept as a shrine.  The situation surely is different depending on where you look.  I very much doubt Poles here illegally and that register to vote do so for Democrats.  Granted, that opinion is based on my reading of Polish interest group postings and the 2 individuals I knew had overstayed their visas and I had reason to suspect intended to vote.  I just refuse to generalize.  I don't know how anyone can just as a leap of faith does that.
