When will the liberals wake up to the fact that the people elected Trump because they are sick and tired of the liberal way of doing business? 4951

When will the liberals wake up to the fact that the people elected Trump because they are sick and tired of the liberal way of doing business?

@CC1974: When they are forced to live with the consequences of their own actions and decisions they force on the rest of America.  They cleverly build in exemptions and opt-outs for themselves. They want to save the world on everyone else's dime, while protecting their own. You want to quickly turn a kid into a conservative GOP member for life?  Teach them about welfare and socialism with Halloween candy.  After they come home all excited with their candy from a night of fun, make them give a significant part of it away to the neighbor kid next door that decided not to got out and instead stay home and watch TV.  Their response will be "why, he didn't go get it, I did all the work?  Why do I have to give away what I worked hard for and he didn't do anything to get?"

That means they have to stop finding other people to blame for their problems and except responsibility for the crappy decision making they made in life.  Not going to happen. 4951

Have you noticed any real change in the way things are done in D.C. ??? By the way, haven't noticed any decernable difference between the way the previous Republican or Democrats have done things in D.C. for many years. "Money, money, money, it's a rich man's world." 4951

An interesting exchange to follow considering the abject abandonment of truth and/or compassion to justify self-righteous claims of virtue and vilification of what are nominally Christian values.  Either Christian doctrine's moral imperatives are imperatives, or they are only for when they are convenient or they are part of the Happy Hour offerings. 4951

The country is not divided. Most want the same things. Safety, employment and healthcare they can afford. Democrats are losing because they really don't want much to do with any of those things. I don't think Republicans do either but the lesser of the two evils was chosen to lead the charge. Any county voting map will show what is going on. Big cities vs town folk. 4951

@deltadawn:
Yes I have noticed changes. We now have a leader that doesn't back down. If the liberals would shut up with their calls of violence and fake news, we could get this country back on track.

@beastmode: A different prism on the 2016 electoral map is the areas producing 65% of the gross domestic product, where Ms. Clinton won, versus the areas where only 35% was produced won overwhelmingly by Mr. Trump.  Yet another is the states with the rate of reliance on welfare benefits, where Mr. Trump won overwhelmingly versus those where that reliance was lesser which you guessed it, Ms. Clinton won.  And yet another of the many other possible prisms is the simple who the most votes but at this point, I just wonder when will Mr. Trump's acolytes accept the elections results and stop rehashing the results  Accept it, he won.?

@plakata: Clinton: 487 counties Trump: 2,626 countieshttp://www.factcheck.org/2016/12/clinton-counties/When you break down welfare and domestic product down by county a completely different picture emerges. The numbers you are throwing out are not breaking it down by county only by state. I know this because I have looked at both. There is more welfare in her counties. There was also a report showing her voters had the worse credit card scores. 4951
