Someone decided it would be a good idea to "realeas" their pet rabbit onto the green belt in NWH yesterday. Today evidence shows the poor thing lost its life in a nasty way. Shame on you, whoever you are. 4951

Speaking of field mice I had one run I front of me in heavy traffic on 59 this morning. Didn't know rats liked highways.

It is always possible it just escaped.
 
But a domestic rabbit would not last long in the wild, between coyotes and raptors, zero chance.

We've had two wild ones die in our yard. Part of the circle of life. Rabbits are, by nature, defenseless. 4951
