At first I thought it was middle back (flank) pain but now I'm leaning more towards kidney issues. Anyone have advice on how to treat? Dr appt this afternoon to confirm. 4951

So the advise so far is overhydration, drunkenness and the introduction to additional anxiety because of all those  "other things" it could be. Coming on here was a stellar idea. 4951

@CantStandTex:

That's probably far superior advice than from my primary care physician, Dr. Quack. She does nothing except bill me.

From now on, I'm relying on KDC for all medical advice & treatment. So many intelligent 🤓 diagnoses & NO CHARGE!
Can't be beat!!

@CantStandTex: We have watched MULTIPLE episodes of ER, so we are more than qualified to advise.  Hello?

I am not a doctor, but I have a family member who had multiple kidney stones and a couple of surgeries for same over her life.  Doctors advised her to drink a lot of water but definitely to get in to the ER to make sure it wasn't something else.  Also, she said the pain she went through passing a stone was 10 times worse than delivering her babies, so that might help give you an idea of whether or not it's a stone.  4951

You know what is odd, i seem to be having kidney issues, thought it might have been a pulled muscle, but ibuprofen doesn't help.
Wife is suppose to be making me an appointment.
Doesn't seem like s kidney stone.

Where is that foil!
Hand me the golf club and umbrella!

@FoFa: Take @Cantstandtx advise - the pool cleaner pole - much better conductor and longer.

Lemon water is what the dr told me I could drink after I got my stone removed.  Keeps stuff from sticking together forming stones. 4951
