Ended up having to carpet our stairs along with the bedrooms. Which color do you like? This has a waffle weave looking textured square pattern and a lower pile loop.

Either 2 or 3. The rest don't mix well with the yellow and orange tones in the wood flooring.

I would love to see 7 (my favorite of the samples) paired with dark cherry wood, but not what is currently there. 4951

Darker would be better on stairs bc of the heavy wear, even tho I think I like the lighter colors better. 4951

@TheTruthHurts: Then I wouldn't grab another grouping of samples that will coordinate with the wood floors. The undertones of this group aren't the greatest match.

The color of the wood floors - awful!! Decided to do some pocket doors, cut down a little wall to open up the tiny kitchen a little more, and doing those metal stair rails with the cables... floors got pushed to the back burner. If there's any money left at the end, we might have them refinished. This is what they look like unfinished - where the cabinets were. Almost looks better unfinished! 😜

2 with what exists. I'm with @donnatella regarding 7; would look great with a darker, red toned stain.

I'd refinish the floor and go with 7.

@terilyntx: Agreed! I love the tones in the natural color. Can't believe they put yellow/orange tones over that! I would have definitely taken that darker and with reddish brown tones.

@terilyntx: Was your house built in the 90's by chance??? I know that wood floor color because I have it and HATE it!! I wanted to have the floors refinished before we moved in over 10 years ago thinking it would be easier without furniture, etc in the way... DH said, "No, we've already spent too much." Now, I'd just do it!! But I do think the color has gotten more "orangey" over the years!! 4951

@klp1972:

It's a loft in a building from 1920. I think the floors are from 1996ish or 2004. I'm just glad they are real wood that can be refinished. Contractor said there's no stain, they just put the clear poly on it. Maybe it yellows over the years? booooo. 4951
