I used to order from Sarpino's and then I started acting like a well behaved diabetic and didn't order any pizza for ages. 3 days ago I had a major craving for pizza so I tried to call Sarpino's and found out they were closed. (Maybe I was single-handedly keeping them alive before I stopped ordering.) So I ordered from Dominos and was very disappointed with the cheese. It wasn't stringy at all. It was just soft and blah. I thought it might be spoiled or something. I called and asked the manager why the cheese was not stringy and he explained that a few years back, they changed to a cheese blend consisting of mozzarella and provolone. The provolone cuts the stringiness. No bueno. So I'm all done with Dominos. I am generally not a fan of Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, or any of the major chain stores. Are there any good places in Kingwood that use high quality stringy cheese like God intended? Are there any good ones that deliver to Kings Mill? These chain stores that compromise the quality in favor of bigger profits are making a mistake. I would pay more for a better quality product. They should offer a "Top Shelf" option for a higher price if they are too cheap to use high quality cheese on all the pies.Got any good recommendations for great pizza in Kingwood? 4951
Brooklyn Pizzaria in Humble. It is in the shopping center in front of Walmart.Italianos in Humble. It is in the shopping center off 1960 where the RR tracks are. Both have Atascocita locations but I prefer the Humble locations for each. 4951
Great pizza paired with delivery seems to be a bit lacking. Locally owned, non-chains seem to be better, but you'll likely have to go for takeout or dine-in.
I agree with Italiano's, RC's and also suggest Christopher's in Atascocita. 4951
Thanks for the suggestions! I am going to have to try each place.. in the name of science, of course. I was all gung ho about Johnny's Pizza and then they didn't last. They should have done some events or something. I thought they would make it. 4951
