I've tried.. It seems like there are a ton of companies that own a lot of properties. It is very hard to reach them throughout the day. I rather lease from a home owner with just a few rental properties than to try to contact a company. Emoticon 4951

Get a real estate agent, it doesn't cost you anything 4951

@Maisey1:  Agreed.  They are a wealth of information.  The HAR.com website is also a great resource.  Good luck!

Drive around the areas you like. I've never seen more houses to rent or lease here in the last 10 years, they are everywhere. 4951

Good luck. They want you to send your info. All of it over email. It took us 5 months to find a shi t hole due to the fact I refused to shoot my personal info to strangers who refused to meet for coffee or show me a property.
I never saw the true inside/outside of the houses I was interested in. They all wanted applications with all your info and I mean all including consent to check your credit.
I did find one house and sent a general email. Got a very enthusiastic email back. When I searched the address deeper it was a scam. The home was not for rent, but for sale without rental options.
Ya gotta do your homework.
Good luck 4951

We used Katrina Mosley with Keller Williams in Kingwood to find our rental. No cost to us and she found us a great house. Also recommend HAR.com to narrow down results in your price range. Its used by realtors and gives realtime information. 4951
