I have one in my hedges by my garbage cans/park my car and one living in my kitchen window. Should I be breaking out the flame thrower?

As creepy as spiders are, I generally let them be. They eat all the unwelcome bugs - like mosquitos. 4951

Leave it be- it takes care of other pests. It's kind of pretty. I used to be afraid of spiders- but after living here- there are some really cool spiders-EXCEPT the ones ( wolf spiders??) that carry 10 zillion babies on them- NOW those need the flame thrower treatment!!  4951

@SmurfySuzi:

Agreed. But it's near my car. And freaky looking. If it tries to attack me while I am getting into my car I might throw a kid at it. Just saying... 🤣🕷🕸 4951

I used to kill every bug/spider I saw. I don't know why, but I scoop them all up on white paper and toss them outside now, so I'm not killing them.  4951
